Medicare only covers a very small portion of the costs incurred. Therefore Medicare Supplements have become very popular. These supplements dramatically reduce the "out of pocket" cost to the insured.
There are different plans available. The plans range from "A" plan to "J" plan. "A" offers the least amount of coverage and "J" offers the most amount of coverage.
